So long as women over 40 years of age are otherwise eligible for the UK national grants in question, there is no reason their age or gender should exclude such entrepreneurs from applying for most such UK national government grants. There are some exceptions, however, namely grants that are intended to help other demographics. For example, grants meant to help young and inexperienced entrepreneurs between the ages of 18 and 34 would not allow women over 40 to apply for them.
